The Laon Historic Hill Climb Association at the Centenary of the Reims–Gueux Circuit
The year 2026 marks a significant anniversary: the centenary of the legendary Reims–Gueux Circuit.
To mark the occasion, the association ‘Les Passionnés du Circuit de la Marne’ had planned to celebrate this event with a particularly attractive programme on 12 and 13 September.
The Association de la Montée Historique naturally felt it was only right to be present to take part in this great celebration of historic motoring. We ran a stand showcasing the magnificent Jaguar XK120 Roadster belonging to our friend Jean-François Lamy.
Our association also contributed to the event by exhibiting around twenty cars. A further ten or so cars belonging to our members took part in the track sessions, including a Fiat X1/9 Abarth, an Alpine A110 and a Ferrari 308 Dino.
This weekend provided an opportunity to share our passion, to meet up with many other enthusiasts of fine motor vehicles, and to pay tribute to the exceptional history of the Reims-Gueux Circuit.
A big thank you to the organisers for this magnificent celebration and for enabling all enthusiasts to bring the legend of this iconic circuit back to life.
