34th Circuit Historique de Laon: a blend of passion and tradition

In many TV series, the real stars aren’t always the actors, but the cars they drive on screen. Who doesn’t remember the Dino 246 or the Aston Martin DBS in ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, Inspector Columbo’s Peugeot 403 convertible, or Magnum’s Ferrari 308 GTS?

These iconic vehicles took centre stage at the 35th Circuit Historique de Laon.

On Saturday morning, under a blazing sun, nearly 800 vehicles gathered at Parc Foch in Laon to set off on a 140 km scenic rally, featuring a lunch break at the beautiful site of Vauclair Abbey (02).

As is tradition, Sunday morning was devoted to a static display, before a parade in the afternoon linked the upper town to the lower town, much to the delight of spectators in Laon.

The following day, the 180 participants continued their adventure with a drive to the Familistère de Guise (02), where they were able to explore this unique site.
