The 32nd Circuit Historique de Laon got underway on Saturday 27 May under a warm summer sunshine and in a festive atmosphere at the Parc Foch, where the 650 participating cars gathered to meet up again.
At mid-morning, the cars set off on a tourist rally towards the Reims-Gueux circuit, once a Mecca of motor sport.
The welcome from the Association des Amis du Circuit de Gueux was fantastic. Participants were able to see for themselves the restoration work that had been carried out.
The first day came to a close with a frenzied rock set.
The following day, Sunday, all these beautiful machines were on static display in various parts of the town of Laon.
They eagerly awaited the start of the parade at 2pm.
The parade was a great success, with an even bigger turnout than in previous years.
As is tradition, Monday was devoted to a tourist rally, with around a hundred cars taking part, this year heading for the Noyonnais region.
